Oh how I want to be....

here, in the middle of nowhere.
I ranted and got it out, and now it is time to delete the rest of this post.I am giving my anger to God and moving on.

Day 3.And with my apron!

8 yo dd has been helping me take pics and didnt realize I did not want one with my apron on. But since I love my apron I thought I would include it. It is from www.wendysmodestdress.com.

Dh bought me the shirt I have on. It has a cat writing on paper and says no animal testing. It is made with organic cotton. Dh knows I am a hippy at heart so he thought it was cute.LOL

But She Is So Cute!

( I have no idea why the pic is sideways, it is not like that on the computer! LOL)
So I took our new dd to an intake interview to get her some counceling. For 2 hours we sat there. She was as quite as she could be. The office looks like the foster care office where she would go for visits with birth parents so it really freaks her out and she freezes. So I go over what is going on, family medical history, the feelings of the OT that has seen her in full blow terror mode. And he tells me," Well she is just so cute. I dont think she needs to see anyone. "Ummmm okay. She was born addicted to meth, lived in a crack house for almost 2 years, with a Mother that abused, and or neglected her. Then to a foster home for 9 months, then to us. In that time she had 2 visits with a birth father that scared the life out of her, and VERY traumatic visits with birthmom and 1/2 sister. We went through food hording issues, severve sleep issues, hitting, biting, lying, and these screaming meltdowns unlike anything I have ever seen. ( And I have 3 autistic kid!) But ya know she is just so cute! He must have said that 50 times! UGHHHH
Oh and "maybe she feels neglected since there are sooooo many other children at home." HAHAHAHAHAHA. I let him know that my other 6 kids should be in here then, since she takes up 100% of my time. I was not nice by the end of the meeting, and told him next time we will try to adopt an unattractive child, so that they can get some help if they need it. (I am still shocked CPS hasnt come over here.LOL)

So I will spend the rest of the day of not few days calling around and BEGGING someone to help this little girl, so she can move forward and have a healthy life.

One VERY long post

Since I havent posted in awhile I am trying to catch up now.
Life has been crazy here. SHOCKING! I know.LOL
Our plans to Utah fell through. Due to the yucky housing market we will be staying here for the time being. But on a good note,I do love my home, and Dh loves his job.

We had the weirdest weather here on tuesday. The day I told the kids we were gonna clean out the pool and get it set up for the summer. Instead we got it from being at the neighbors. And sadly in the process off flying off it smashed my clothesline :( So here is a pic after. You can see where we have tied it down.


Monday night for family home evening we made Temples with sugar cubes. The kids had a blast. ( And I think Dad did too)

Corey turned 7 on Wed! I cant believe it. He has grow up so fast, and come such a long way. We had an Indiana Jones party. We normally have playgroup at our house on Wed,so it worked out nice that his birthday fell on that day, and his friends were already coming over. We played 2 different treasure hunt games. Had a late lunch of chicken nuggets and fries ( Coreys favorite) Open gifts and had ice cream cake. The kids all had a blast. But it made for one tired Mommy! ( Corey shown with some of his webkinz)

Just MIA for a bit

Craziness has taken over.But I am going to sit down tonight and type it all out.

This weekend has been LOOONNNGGGG. But there does seem to be a light at the end of the tunnel.
The ped is trying dd on some meds, that are working VERY well so far. Although this is day 2. But yesterday was awesome! She goes Tuesday to the psych eval so hopefully we will know more then.
The insurance company for the lady that hit Dh, sent us a check yesterday. And we still are keeping the car. YAY! So that worked out well.
I am bummed we have to wait for a paper stimulus check, since we got our refund put on a debit card from H&R Block. But at least I know it is coming and I am excited about that.
