An update at last :)

Things have been a little crazy here. A good crazy, but crazy.

Emily (8) and Corey (7) were playing soccer on a team for special needs kiddo's. We had a WONDERFUL time. The coaches were awesome, the kids wonderful, and we made some good friends. We will be playing again in the Spring. The kids cannot wait.

Adam, Jonas (14), and Emily (8) are now all doing some form of karate. Adam and Jonas are doing kickboxing, and Emily is taking Karate. They are all loving it.

Other kiddos are busy with work, schoolwork, girl scouts, therapies, and life :)

Our new 12 yo dd is back home with us. Everything is going WONDERFUL, and I love her dearly. And cannot imagine her not here with us.

Birthmom is NOT going to fight us. She has decided to "just have the new baby and move on with her life." I cant imagine saying that about my kids, but YAY for us. And the kids are just thrilled, and they DO NOT want to go back at all.
Everyone has asked us if we will take the new baby if it is taken away. I would like to say no, but cannot as I know myself. I will leave that up to a lot of prayer if we come to that bridge.

And the bestest news! I am an AUNT!! Emory Rae was born on the 15th at 5:01 pm. 7 lbs 3oz, 18 1/2 in long. Mom and baby are doing awesome. And she is the cutest neice anyone ever had. (See pic if you dont believe me! LOL)

Hope everyone is well, and I will update more often, I promise!

Giving it to God

Yesterday my Aunt Carol ( My ONLY normal Aunt)called me to let me know that the 3 new kiddos we took custody of, their birth Mom is out of jail, and pregnant yet again with #5. ( Number #1, his Grandmother raises him, and I have custody of the other 3)
My other Aunt ( who is a prescription pill addict) called her to let her know that birth Mom says she is going to get a lawyer and get them back from us. This is not the 1st time I have heard this song BTW. So we will see. We have already explained to our other children that the kids are here as long as God gives them to us. She is still not healthy, nor do I have hopes she ever will be, so I just pray that if she somehow manages to get a lawyer, and win them back that they will be okay. But it tears me up inside,so I know the best thing to do is go day by day and give it to God.

Busy Night Here......

for the tooth fairy! DD 5 lost her 1st tooth. ( She had the top ones pulled before we got her. I STILL have no idea why.) And DS 7 lost another tooth.
Each one woke up to a crisp dollar bill under their pillow.
