Part 2 Of The Big Move :)

I believe I left off with us eating in St. George. Well we loaded back up and filled up the van and the Uhaul. Which every time we had to do this I wanted to cry LOL. It cost about $150 for the Uhaul and $80 for the van at least. The drive from St. George to Salt Lake City is REALLY boring. Plus now the sun was setting and it started to get cold. So I go to turn on the heater in the van.... And it doesn't work. It seems some line to the heater was cut. We never knew this because we lived in Phoenix and never turned the heater on LOL. Thankfully the kids had their blankets and were just fine. I on the other hand was freezing and my hands were so cold and my back was killing me. At one point I was so tired, so cold, and so uncomfortable I just started crying. Thankfully the kids didn't see me and after a quick prayer I felt better. We pulled off the freeway onto our new neighborhood close to 10pm. We had been in the car over 12 hours! I was never so happy to see anyone my entire life as I was to see my husband at that moment! ( My oldest dd took a pic of this moment, but I cant find it now) The new house looked beautiful and oh my was it COLD!

The New House ( Lots of yard work needed )

So we came in and toured the house. The kids were so excited to see their new bedrooms! The house has 6 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms. Only 2 of the kids have to share a room and they don't mind one bit so it works out really well. We unloaded the beds ( We packed them last so we could get them out easy) and got some much needed rest. The next morning my sister, brother in law and niece, as well as my oldest daughters friend came over to help us unload so we could get the truck back. Thankfully it went much smoother then loading it! LOL We spent the next 2 days with the 2 older kids touring Temple Square, going out to eat, and shopping since they had to fly out on Sunday. Putting the 2 of them on that plane was one of the hardest things I ever had to do in my entire life!!! ( I have a ton of pics but again can't figure out where I put them! )

So after dropping 2 of my precious babies at the airport we came home and the fun of unpacking and yard clean up began!

I am so glad we didn't wait a week to come since we got a TON of snow quickly dumped on us. I was so not prepared! LOL So after a run to Target we were all set for some snow fun!

There are people skiing past our house! The kids thought this was HILARIOUS lol!

What I saw when I opened the front door!

So here we are almost to 2013 and everyone has settled in nicely and it has been amazing to see Heavenly Fathers hand in all of it :) But that is all for a different post.
So theres the story of the move and although some of it was very rough there were still times of great joy in the journey :)
